The San Diego Chapter is proud to collaborate with the University of Nebraska Foundation in underwriting a scholarship in the amount of $1000 to be awarded annually to an applicant for the fall freshman class residing in San Diego County. All San Diego County applicants for the fall class are automatically considered for the award during the University’s admission process and a special application is not needed.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Tax-deductible donations by local Huskers to help fund this important initiative are greatly appreciated and can be made by mailing a check payable to the University of Nebraska Foundation Fund #01124500 to:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Local Scholarship Opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Between March 1st and June 30th we accept Scholarship applications for the next school year.\u00a0 In addition to the University of Nebraska Foundation the Chapter funds locally administered scholarships for San Diego County students attending the University of Nebraska.\u00a0 Both incoming freshman and upper classmen are eligible. These awards are typically $500 and $1000 depending on available funds and number of applications.\u00a0 Donations are always welcome to help fund our scholarship and the QR code below will help you donate to our local scholarship.<\/b><\/p>\r\n
